Step1: open Thunderbird ... Accounts > create a new account > Email 
Step2:
- Your Name: Enter the name you wish recipients to see when they receive your message.
- Email Address : Enter your full e-mail address
- Password: enter your email ID password
Step3: When you press Continue, Thunderbird will look up the email provider and attempt to determine the server settings.
Select the IMAP or POP3 > Done
